Jasper is a Pointer/Lab X, has an estimated birth date of 3/21/2016 and is approximately 60lbs.  This sweet boy is very laid back and is crate trained and potty trained.  He currently lives with 2 older small dogs and has never lived with small children.  I haven’t seen him with a cat at all but he doesn’t react to squirrels or bunnies in the yard so I wouldn’t expect it to be a problem.

In new situations Jasper can be very timid and panicky but with slow introductions he does just fine.  He needs a home that will continue to work on building his self-confidence and another dog to learn from would be ideal. He loves being outside so he would love to have a home with a fenced in backyard where he can run and explore.  He does like to go on walks as long as it’s not on a busy road, we continue to work with him on this.

While he does love to be outside, he’s also always willing to lay on the couch and snuggle. A perfect home for him would be one with a fenced yard or tie out so he can lay outside, socak up the sun and watch the world go by. Apartment living would make this hard for Jasper to accomplish.  At night he goes right to his crate and sleeps there for the night. During the day he has free roam of the house and tends to just sleep all day. 

They just don’t come any sweeter than Jasper.
