Hi I’m Chevy, an AWESOME dog (so they tell me!), who is almost 8 years old and 20 pounds. I am the best cuddle buddy, so if you're looking for a dog who loves to snuggle, come meet me! I am so eager to be loved and can transition very easily into your home and routine.  My current foster family has a big gray kitty and we get along great! I also do great with dogs when I can meet them off leash. But everyone keeps bragging about me being such a great dog to walk. The secret is out… I LOVE going for walks, almost as much as I love to cuddle. I like to have a couple walks a day, one in the morning and one before dinner.  I also like it when someone is available to take me out for potty breaks frequently, even if I don’t let you know I have to go.  I have two "separate" looks. When my ears are down and my mouth is closed I look so angelic! And then I smile with a great big grin and you can see my adorable crooked teeth!

From his foster mom: Chevy is a LOVE!! He loves meeting new people and being in the mix.  He gets some playful bursts now and then but settles down easily with stuffed toys and fluffy pillows. Chevy has had some issues with bladder infections and at this time will require special dog food to support his kidneys. He wears a belly band in our house and is very happy and comfortable wearing it. (I will send it with him to his new home.) Chevy has some exposure to children, but should be monitored with children. Chevy's ability to get along in many situations will make him a lucky addition to any family.
