Margo is a wonderful lab girl with all the goofy, happy, and playful energy typical to this breed. Margo loves life and is up for anything. She enjoys going for walks, running around in the backyard and playing fetch. She is a social, outgoing dog who loves meeting new people and going on any adventure. Margo also enjoys the company of other dogs and is always up for playtime with her four legged buddies. She is a larger dog, so she can be a little much for little ones who don't quite understand her playful nature, but otherwise does great and would love if her forever home had a four legged friend to keep her company.

Margo is what we would call a Velcro dog, meaning she likes to be with her people wherever they go. You will never be alone with Margo in the house! If you enjoy the company of a dog who wants to be right by your side or snuggling up close, this is your gal.

The best part about Margo is she has all the fun of a puppy without the puppy problems. With an estimated birthdate of 2008, she is well past the puppy shenanigans. She is fully house trained, knows to keep four on the floor and typically doesn’t jump up on people. She doesn't chew on things she shouldn't and once she has a chance to burn her energy, is content to just hang out and chill when in the house.

In general, Margo is a wonderful dog who is sure to win you over. If she sounds like a good fit for your family, apply today to meet her!

Margo is participating in our Rush to Rescue program, and she is currently being fostered by a pair of offenders at the Rush City Correctional Facility. While there, Margo will be attending a training program with a certified trainer and will be working on her commands with her handlers. Please contact us to find out more about Margo. Meet and greets can be arranged with a Wags & Whiskers volunteer in the prison lobby, adoption event, or other locations for an approved applicant.
