"Saving the life of one animal may not change the world, but the world will surely change for that one animal" |

We think Duchess had a hard start in life. She hung out on the wrong side of the tracks and ended up with kittens at a young age. Seriously though, she has been an excellent mama- very patient and loving with her young, and was recently spayed. Due to her rough start, Duchess would probably do best in a home with older children and no other cats or dogs. She has super soft long white fur and pretty green eyes. She has a slight purr, which only happens after she trusts you, so it makes you feel like a million bucks. She's very talkative, and she will let you know when she's hungry by sitting on her container of food or meowing at you nonstop (ok ok we get it!).
When she knows she's doing something naughty, (like jumping over her gate), she'll look at you and meow to alert you. She wouldn't make a very good spy. She's not sneaky enough. It takes her a while to warm up and trust her human, so she will need a longer "getting to know you" visit to see her true personality. And she will need a patient and loving human to help her forget her rough start in life. Are you the one to give Duchess a happy ever after home?
