Haley is a very sweet girl that loves her people (and strangers!).

Haley loves. to. play. She'll spend hours playing fetch with you, if you can throw it she'll retrieve it right to hand. She'll fetch balls, discs, sticks, etc. She is goofy when she's working, but also very reliable in doing what you ask her to do. She will make you laugh over and over when you're doing something with her. She's completed our 4 Week Basic Obedience Boot Camp program with flying colors. She walks awesome on a leash, doesn't jump on guests, and is a very happy responsive dog when you ask her to do things.

When playtime is done, she'll snuggle and relax. Haley has the perfect ON and OFF switch! She's very loving and just wants to be near her people. She is also potty trained and crate trained, and will relax quietly in her kennel for a full work day. I think she would also be a good candidate to be left loose in the house while her family is gone, she is not destructive. She'll just sleep and hang out if left alone.

Haley's ideal home would be an active one! She needs outlets for her Catahoula energy every single day. She would make a great running partner, and she's perfect for someone looking to start sports with an easy, responsive, and driven dog. Haley would do well in disc dog, hobby level agility, obedience, and rally. I think she'd also enjoy barn hunt and lure coursing, but we haven't tried either of those with her yet. Haley would likely not do well in a home with cats, and should be an only dog. She is 2 years old, spayed, and up to date on her vaccinations.
