Chihuahua love. It’s a special thing. And Uno (called Juno by her foster mother) is one lovey Chihuahua. She loves to give you little Chihuahua kisses, roll on her back to show off her tiny belly, absolutely loves attention of any kind. She currently lives in a house with three other small dogs and several cats. She is neither friendly nor unfriendly with the rest of the pack because all she cares about is being with YOU. You are her favorite friend and nothing makes her happier than being near you. Well, going for walks is a close tie. She does a special Chihuahua dance when it’s time for walks. Once outside, she does her business in her usual spot and then it’s on to the good part of the walk, being with you and seeing the sights. She is a great walker – doesn’t feel the need to sniff every blade of grass – so the walks go quick! Juno is kenneled during the day, surrounded by lots of fluffy blankets. She is kenneled at night except for those times when she jumps in the bed with you, snuggles next to you, and you cave in because…how can you put her in her kennel now??? Because she is tiny and not a young pup anymore, she should have several let outs or walks before bed time and you should make sure she’s done all her business before kenneling her for the day. Ideally, she should not be kenneled more than 8 hours. Juno also loves to sleep, so kennel life suits her just fine since you’re not around to cuddle her anyway. Juno is 12 years old but believe me, she is still spunky and spry. She weighs in at a mere 7 lbs. All in all, she is simply a friendly, sweet & cuddly girl who integrates well into a house with other animals. The unknowns are larger or energetic dogs and children, as she has no experience with those in her current home.
