Teddy Bear, who goes by "Big Bear" in her foster home, is a lovely 11 year old, toy Poodle mix.  Although she is a senior, she has a lot of life and love to enjoy.  She loves to snuggle and follow her foster mom around the house.  She also enjoys frolicking around the backyard and spending time in the sunshine.  She is a goofy dog who sometimes grunts and snorts when running around the house.  She is the perfect mix of fun energy and calm snuggles.  When she is ready to snuggle, she will try to jump on the couch or bed, but she sometimes needs a lift to make it up.  Luckily, she's only about 10 pounds, so it's pretty easy to help her up.

Bear is comfortable in her crate, but she is never destructive when left out.  She will occasionally have an accident when her foster mom is gone all day, but she does great with house training when she is let out at least every six hours.  She will sometimes bark at new people, but warms up quickly.  Big Bear lives with other dogs and loves to snuggle with them on the couch.  Bear loves to snuggle in bed too, often crawling under the covers for additional warmth.

Big Bear is a joy to have around and has a great, fun personality.  If you have space for a sweet senior, please fill out an application to meet her today.
