Hi my name is Leila! I was born May 1, 2014. I am looking for the perfect active family to adopt me. I am house and crate trained and will even bring you to the door when I need to go outside! I enjoy greeting people and giving my foster parents hugs and jumping on them. I just can’t help my excitement which is too much for kids under the age of 12. Even though I am crate trained, I have in the past been a free roam dog. However, I do really like to be with my family so I may whine and bark for a bit after you leave before settling down to nap or chew on my toy.

I really enjoy playing, running, and taking walks. I play well with other dogs my size that enjoy playing too. I currently live with 2 other dogs and have gone to doggy daycare. I equally enjoy playing with my human friends too! My foster mom throws a disc and I really enjoy playing tug with it and bringing it back to her. My foster family enjoys hiking and says I would make a great adventure dog as I am always up for exploring a new trail!

Everyone says that I am a super smart dog! I love to learn new tricks and keep my mind active. By learning these tricks, I get mentally tired and can rest and snuggle after. My foster mom says I would learn a dog sport very quickly like Agility. It sounds fun, both mental and physical exercise! A secret is I love to grab your Kleenex. My foster mom teaches me “Leave It” so I don’t snatch them up.
