Woofo is my name.  Most people pronounce it Woofoo and nobody seems to know how I got it or what it means.  But by age 6, I’m kind of used to it.  I’m a small, quiet, watchful lady with an easy purr.  I’ve learned to adapt and while I exercise caution, I’m not afraid.  When I decide to get up out of my chair and go for a walk, no one can stop me.   

My family moved and somehow my housemate, Whitey, and I ended up in the shelter.  We are so ready to start our new lives somewhere else, together or apart. 

The foster home where we are staying has 5 other cats and so far we all get along pretty well except for one cranky cat who doesn’t like anyone. I haven’t explored the place yet – Foster Mom is protecting me and I’m waiting for Whitey to go first, but now I am curious.  I’m pretty good at using the scratch pad and litter box.  Not much for playing but I think I’d like a warm lap.  When my foster mom is away, she turns on the radio and we wait quietly for her return. 

I got a cold when I first got here but powdered lysine in wet food helped me through it.  Now I really like wet cat food, although I only get a small amount each day.  I like it when someone runs the comb through my hair. Foster Mom thinks my coat will get softer with a better diet.  I’m small but I can eat!   

I haven’t been around dogs yet in foster, but that will be changing soon. Foster mom doesn’t expect any problem with me adapting.  She says I am very good at it.  She calls me “endearing”.
